City of Daytona Beach, Florida General Info

A city located in the City of Volusia County in Florida, Daytona Beach has an estimated population of 64, 211 according to the United States Census Bureau in the year 2008. Historically, Daytona Beach is known to have many beaches where the hard packed sand are allowed to be driven over by motorized vehicles in the beach areas that are restricted by the government of Daytona Beach. Being a pilgrimage by many motor sports lover because Daytona Beach have hosted many other races for over 50 years now. The race founded was called Daytona Beach Road Course made from the hard packed sand along the Daytona Beach.

In the year 1959, the course was replaced with Daytona International Speedway. Daytona Beach is said to be one of the most visited place in the State of Florida and there are many seasonal visitors that come in and out of the city to be able to experience the wonderful surroundings and adventures that can be experienced in the scenic environment of Daytona Beach City. Many people who would want to go on vacation in the city.

The climate in Daytona Beach is humid subtropical and this is the most typical climate in the United States. Most of the summers in the area are hot and humid reaching 90 up to 100 degrees. And because of this, many people enjoy coming in Daytona Beach because of the perfect climate that it serves to the residents and visitors in the area.
