This disasters happened in the years 1766, 1835, and 1857 when the cold weather have severely damaged the crops of the residents in the area making them abandon their crops and leaving them with no income. It is one of the major disasters that happened so far in Daytona Beach and people are hoping not to experience any further damage from Mother Nature anymore.

Being located near the Atlantic Ocean, Daytona also has the possibility to get caught by hurricanes and some tropical storms. Yet there were no recorded heavy hurricane damage that has happened in Daytona Beach so far.
